Overview & First Drive: Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 [Video]
By: Tim Gluth
Axial's SCX30 lineup continues to not only grow, but I believe it's getting better. Following the release of the SCX30 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro, Axial has introduced its most detailed micro crawler yet, the SCX30 Jeep CJ-7. Since I own just about every other SCX30 model available, it only made sense to add this new model to my R/C garage.
Come along as I take a closer look at this new rig, which comes in two versions: one for crawling performance and another for micro trail driving.
Meet the Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 Family:
- Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 (Red - Crawler-focused)
- Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 (Green - Trail-focused)
- Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 ("Horizon Hobby Exclusive" Yellow - Trail-focused)
The Axial SCX30 Jeep CJ-7 is priced at $99.99 and is available through Axial, Horizon Hobby, and their dealers. Visit horizonhobby.com to learn more about this 1/30-scale R/C micro crawler.
