Traxxas isn't the first brand that I think of when considering comp-focused micro crawlers, but if their upcoming TXC-4M Extreme Crawler is any indication, that opinion is about to change. Known for its standard and large-scale go-fast and crawler models, Traxxas is a well-known name in the small-scale space with its 1/18 LaTrax Rally, Desert […]
I may not be new to the R/C hobby, but I am fairly new to the drift scene. My Redcat RDS got me going, but I honestly haven't driven that car in more than two years. After HPI introduced their Stage-D10 Drift Car, my interest in drifting was mildly piqued, but their release of the […]
While my main passion in the R/C scene is crawlers and trail trucks, I'd love to venture into the speedier side of the hobby from time to time. The folks at Hobby Plus gave me the chance to take a closer look at their new 1/24 Speck-T Brushless Stadium Truck, and let me say...it's one […]
Hobby Plus has expanded its 1/24 Speck lineup even further with the introduction of the Speck-T Stadium Truck. Available in both brushed and brushless configurations, this compact carpet and pavement racer looks like an amazingly fun radio-controlled machine. Based on the earlier Speck-B and Speck-SCT models, the 2WD Speck-T is more than just a simple […]

Continuing the legacy of the Losi RC Car platform, this model features the Wonder Bread paint scheme made famous in Talladega Nights, […]
HPI has released another model in its Nano-TTR lineup. For blue oval fans, you now have another micro Mustang to add to your collection in the Nano-TTR Ford Mustang RTR Spec5 . Like previous models in the Nano-TTR lineup, the 1/64-scale Ford Mustang RTR Spec5 is an ultra-small-sized radio-controlled car with fully proportional steering and […]
I have to give ARRMA (and Losi) credit for continuing to find new and creative ways to use their 1/12-scale Grom platform for new releases. The latest entry in ARRMA's 1/12-scale Grom lineup is the Infraction Grom 3S. Built for speed, this smaller-scale on-road basher sports an aggressive-yet-sleek body design, aerodynamically tuned for speed and […]
It's rig review time...at least a mini-rig review. While I haven't done many upgrades on my gold Redcat Ascent-18 Brushless Scout II, I wanted to share the small updates that I have made (so far). This was the first Brushless Ascent-18 Scout II that I added to my RC garage, and I recently added a […]
