FMS might be one of my favorite R/C brands at the moment. Their attention to detail has always been second to none, and now they appear to emphasize performance. Their latest project is a revamp and re-branding of their 1/18-scale crawler lineup with the FCX18 Toyota Land Cruiser 80.
The FCX18 LC80 isn’t a new body style for a 1/18-scaler. In fact, I had one up until a few months ago. What is new with this iteration is the attention to performance. Portal axles, metal suspension links, a two-speed transmission, and oil-filled shocks all combine to make an impressive crawler.
