The FCX18 II platform from FMS rolls on, thanks to the release of the 160mm wheelbase FCX18 II 2021 Ford Bronco. Based on how much FMS had been talking about the Toyota Land Cruiser 80, I was almost certain it would be the first "shorter wheelbase" body offered on the FCX18 II, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the Bronco make its debut.
Keeping its knack for scale detail intact, FMS has equipped this version of the FCX18 II with a plastic hard body featuring several accents and details, including side mirrors, a roof rack, running boards, clear windows, a detailed interior, and more.
Three body colors are available to choose from: black, gray, and grayish (grayish blue), and since the bodies can be removed with ease, it's a snap to swap different body colors around when you want to change things up.
Capping of the visual details of this rig, the FCX18 II 2021 Ford Bronco features "rotary dial"-style wheels with licensed 1.0" BFG tires, including a functioning spare that's mounted on the back.
Like the FCX18 II Ford F-100, this updated trail truck and crawler platform features a low center-of-gravity chassis design with straight axles, a two-speed transmission, four-wheel drive, and a magnetic body-mounting and light-connector system.
