The 1/18-scale crawling scene is booming, thanks in part to FMS and their recent releases of ultra-detailed models. The latest machine to come from FMS is the 1/18-scale Mogrich. This small-scale Unimog features a unique design, solid off-road performance, and plenty of scale details for fans of ultra-realism.
The Unimog is no stranger to the R/C world, with several 1/10-scale models already on the market. The 1/18-scale scene, however, has mainly focused on pickup trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. The Mogrich offers a utilitarian take on small-scale crawling and features an ABS plastic “hardbody”, clear windows, a detailed interior, and a body that’s chock-full of small details.
The Mogrich’s body features a flat-green finish and also includes black fenders, bumpers, and fuel tanks. Narrow tractor-tread tires are paired with red wheels to form an eye-catching combination.
Under the hood, the Mogrich sports a 55T brushed motor, four-link suspension setup, and is powered by a 7.4V 2S LiPo battery.
