The 1/24-scale R/C scaler scene has gained (yet) another player. RC4WD has decided to try its hand at small-scale crawling with the introduction of the 1/24 Trail Finder 2 RTR. While they’re no stranger to scaled-down crawlers, this is the first sub-1/18 model from RC4WD.
This scaled-down Trail Finder 2 features a ladder-frame chassis, shaft-driven 4-wheel drive drivetrain, four-link suspension, just like what you’d find on larger R/C trail trucks. Along with this new rig, RC4WD is introducing its R6 micro transmission, which features brass and steel gears and a 1.15:1 internal gear ratio.
Like its larger Trail Finder 2 models, the 1/24 Trail Finder 2 sports a hard body with clear windows and a detailed interior. Three body colors are available to choose from; red, blue, or yellow.
