Overhauled Horse - Axial's Refreshed SCX24 Ford Bronco
One by one, Axial has been refreshing and updating its SCX24 lineup, both with new models and with updates to some familiar faces. Their latest 1/24-scaler to get an overhaul is the SCX24 Ford Bronco. What was once their first foray into the world of hard-bodied small-scale crawlers is now the latest model to receive some TLC.
To help bring the SCX24 Bronco up to the same level as its siblings, Axial has outfitted this rig with oil-filled shocks and Spektrum electronics, including the radio, ESC, and battery. Another noticeable change between this and the previous SCX24 Bronco models is the tighter fit between the front bumper and the grille.
Of course, the most eye-catching change on these new Broncos has to be the color options. Now available in white, green, and red, each of these colors looks amazing on the modern-retro body of the 2020's Bronco.
And while the white and green models look stunning in their own right, the red option replicates Ford's Bronco Heritage trim package, which features a white grille with Ford badging, a white roof, and white wheels.
