Hobby Plus Supercharges the Speck-B Buggy with Brushless Power
The team at Hobby Plus has given its 1/24-scale Speck-B Buggy a serious boost with its latest upgrade. The new Speck-B Brushless Edition takes the same nimble platform introduced with the original Speck-B and supercharges it with a Hobbywing brushless motor.
A Hobby Plus-branded Hobbywing 8000KV brushless, inrunner motor is the main focus of this new model, offering plenty of power backed by smooth response and performance.
Beyond the motor, the Speck-B Brushless Edition also sports a handful of design tweaks to improve durability and performance. Lighter shock oil offers more cushioned landings and bump absorption, and Hobby Plus has redesigned the center transmission gear so it no longer requires any break-in period. Simply open the box, charge the battery, and let this buggy rip!
In addition to those updates, the Speck-B Brushless features a revised steering drag link with a taller ball stud for improved overall motion and clearance.
Two body colors are available for the Speck-B Brushless Edition: Razor Magenta and Razor Yellow. Both bodies are made of durable polycarbonate and should withstand most impacts, whether you're driving indoors or out.
