Hobby Plus 1/18 Fortis DKR4 RTR Desert Rally Truck
It's here! Hobby Plus has officially launched its latest 1/18-scale creation, the Fortis DKR4 RTR Desert Rally Truck. Borrowing styling cues from their 6x6 and 8x8 offerings, this desert rally truck looks amazing and should offer plenty of fun ripping around the backyard or a dedicated rally course.
Appearance-wise, this truck is hard to keep your eyes off of. From the aggressive graphics to its rugged body design, this truck looks great whether it's parked or in action.
As with previous "big rig" models, the DKR4 offers plenty of scale detail, including gull-wing side doors, rear-mounted spare tires, and a roof-mounted light bar. Large tires with aggressive tread should work well on many terrains, while the oil-filled shocks help dampen the impact of bumps and jumps.
Performance-wise, the Fortis DKR4 features metal driveshafts, axles, and outdrives for solid durability right out of the box, plus smooth operation. Speaking of smooth, the DKR4 is available with both brushed and brushless motor options, so you can pick the best fit for your budget and setup.
Both the brushed and brushless versions of the DKR4 are available with the same color options: white - with orange and black graphics, and red - with black and white graphics.
