If you’re a fan of classic R/C machines and want to keep a bit of history on your shelf, Team Associated has released a “Jammin’ Jay Halsey” version of their 1/28-scale RC28 buggy. Featuring a replica paint scheme to that of Jay’s 1985 RC10 which he used to win the IFMAR Off-road World Championship.
While this small-scale replica doesn’t match the power that Jays’s 1/10-scale buggy had, it’s a faithful representation of this old-school speedster. Along with the blue, red and orange color scheme, the Jammin’ Jay replica features a clear rear wing and a black front wheel/white rear wheel combo.
The internals of this buggy match that of the original Team Associated RC28 and feature dual rear shocks, a micro-sized brushed motor, and a 2.4GHz radio system. The controller/transmitter doubles as the charging source for this tiny machine, allowing you to easily recharge while on the go.
