Treal Rolls Out New Beadlock Wheels for the SCX24

By: Tim Gluth

Modding the 1/24-scale Axial SCX24 has become a popular activity among small-scale R/C crawling enthusiasts. Among the growing list of hop-ups and upgrades for this model are a new set of aluminum beadlock wheels from Treal.

Featuring three stylish finishes of black, red, and gray, these wheels not only add style to your small-scale crawler but also performance-boosting weight. Each wheel weighs approximately 11.2g when fully assembled and will help plant the tires of your SCX24 into the ground for improved stability.

Treal 1.0" SCX24 Beadlock Wheel Specs:

  • Outer Diameter: 31mm/1.22"
  • Width: 12.7mm/0.5"
  • Weight: 11.2g/0.024lb
  • Hex Hub: 7mm/0.275"
  • Axle "Through Hole" Diameter: 3mm/0.118"

If you need even more weight for your rig, Treal is also introducing a version of these wheels with a brass wheel ring that's weighted at 22g per wheel.

The standard set of beadlock wheels are priced at $38.98 and the brass ring version sells for $42.98. Additional details about both of these wheel sets can be found at trealhobby.com.
