Rip the Rocks with the HPI Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400
If you've been waiting for HPI to expand its Venture18 lineup, your wait is over. Originally released in the fall of 2024, the Venture18 has become one of the more popular 1/18-scale trail trucks on the market, and with good reason. With a classic Toyota HiLux body and plenty of under-the-hood polish, this rig is quite capable, despite its size.
Now, the Venture18 is available with a radical new look that's ready to tackle the trail. The HPI Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400 features the eye-catching design and color scheme of Vaughn Gittin Jr's RTR Vehicles "Fun Haver" U4 off-road racer.
This small-scale off-road rig features a detailed body that includes functioning LED headlights, realistic graphics schemes, and a clipless body mounting system.
The Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400 rolls on Tredz 1.2" Trailblaster tires that feature a sticky compound for ultimate grip. The tires are mounted to 3-piece beadlock wheels, which should make them easy to swap out if you choose.
Under the body, the Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco uses the same chassis foundation found on the original Venture18. Its features include oil-filled shocks, a metal chassis frame, and a two-speed transmission for higher-speed trail running and precise, low-speed crawling performance.
Two versions of the Venture18 U4 Ford Bronco 4400 are available: a standard brushed model and a brushless, "Flux" model. The brushed motor is 180-sized and 55T, while the brushless motor is 3500kv.
