Redcat Volcano-16 Small-scale R/C Monster Truck
Redcat has released a pre-holiday surprise in the form of a 1/16-scale monster truck. If you're looking for an R/C-related stocking stuffer, take a look at the Redcat Volcano-16.
While I haven't seen one of these trucks up-close, it appears to be a re-badged version of Haiboxing's 1/16-scale monster truck, which has been an incredibly fun vehicle to drive. The Redcat Volcano-16 differs in body style, offering a Ram-inspired body in either red or blue.
Under the hood, the Volcano-16 features a brushed motor, metal center driveshaft, and is powered by a Lithium-Ion battery. Two battery packs are included, allowing for extended fun and the USB-based charger allows you to recharge these batteries just about anywhere.
A durable chassis featuring a tub-style design houses all of the electronics in a clean and orderly fashion. The suspension setup on the Volcano-16 features independent front and rear suspension with oil-filled, adjustable shocks.
