Outdoor Action with Carisma's MSA-1E "GEN 2" [Video]

By: Tim Gluth

Small-scale R/C crawling truly knows no bounds. Whether indoors or out, most of the sub-1/10-scale models that you'll find today are capable little machines and excel in just about any type of terrain.

In testing the capabilities of Carisma's latest 1/24-scale crawler, the MSA-1E 1976 Ford F-150, I took this tiny truck outdoors for some fresh air and fun. With crawler-tuned gearing and the same impressive chassis performance as the original, I put this crawler up against some tricky obstacles and watched as it handled everything with ease.

Alongside the Axial SCX24, the Carisma MSA-1E is one of the best all-around small-scale crawlers that I've driven. It's handling characteristics are on par with that of a 1/10-scale vehicle, and it has plenty of low-end power to help it navigate an array of obstacles.

In short, it's a fun little truck and one you should consider if you're a fan of R/C crawling. To learn more about the Carisma MSA-1E "GEN 2" 1976 Ford F-150, visit carisma-shop.com.
