Hobby Plus CR18P Terranaut 8x8 with 8-Wheel Steering
The folks at Hobby Plus have a new 1/18-scale rig that's unlike anything else on the market today. The CR18P Terranaut 8x8 is a massive (for a small-scale rig) all-terrain R/C truck that features a tactical/military look with some surprising features under the hood.
Similar to the CR18P Arktos 6x6, the Terranaut is a hauler-style truck featuring a range of scale details, including folding side mirrors, a detailed interior, a trailer hitch receiver, and LED lights.
Along with those scale details, the Terranaut offers several performance features, including 8-wheel drive, 8-wheel steering, and a two-speed transmission. The 8-wheel steering feature makes this rig a unique and maneuverable machine, capable of crab walking and performing tight turns thanks to its all-wheel steering.
The Terranaut is available in two color options, olive green or slate gray. Both options feature black, 1.2" beadlock wheels with rugged, all-terrain tires.
