"Heavy Mod" Redcat Ascent-18 Rig Review [Video]
Over the years, I've learned that no R/C project is ever "done". It might be "good enough" for now, but something else can always be added, removed, or modified to make an R/C machine a true custom piece. Take, for example, my Redcat Ascent-18. From its beginnings as a stock 1/18-scale crawler, I've managed to throw more upgrade parts and goodies on this machine to transform it into something that's truly my own.
Since I haven't done an upgraded rig review in a while, I decided to kick things off with my heavily modded Ascent-18. In this video, I give an overview of the updates that I've performed on my rig (and even managed to miss a few). Thankfully, they came to me as I wrote the upgrade list, which you can find after the video.
