Full-throttle with Injora's MBL32 Brushless ESC and Purple Viper Motor [Video]

I don't use the words "game changer" often, but when I do, they typically have some weight behind them. Injora's MBL32 Micro ESC and Purple Viper Brushless Motor Combo appear to be just that; game changers. If you own a Traxxas TRX-4M or Redcat Ascent-18 and want to achieve not only smooth yet powerful low-end performance but also impressive top-end speed, you've probably looked at a brushless motor setup.

Until recently, those brushless motor and ESC packages have cost almost as much as the small-scale vehicles you're putting them into. Injora's offering not only brings performance, but it comes at a reasonable price, so much so that I bought one motor and ESC combo for my Ascent-18 and another (which is on its way) for one of my TRX-4Ms.

The installation into the Ascent-18 went quite well, and I am bowled over by the amount of power this new system brings to the table. Running on 2S or 3S LiPo power, you can transform your 1/18-scale Ascent or TRX-4M into a true powerhouse for crawling or trail cruising.

The Ascent's performance after this upgrade has been impressive, though I am noticing more noise (either from the transmission, the motor, or both). However, it's manageable due to the performance improvements offered.
