FMS FCX24 K5 Blazer Pro - Brushless 1/24 R/C Trail Truck
FMS has taken the wraps off of its 18th Anniversary Edition FCX24 K5 Blazer Pro. This 1/24-scale crawler sports two new body color and graphics options, plus an array of chassis and electronics upgrades to take this version of the FCX24 to the next level.
The biggest upgrade on this model has to be its brushless outrunner motor that provides smoother throttle control and much-improved low-end speed for technical crawling challenges. FMS has also equipped this model with a dedicated brushless ESC, allowing for easier radio and receiver upgrades, should you choose to do that.
The chassis has also been updated with metal suspension links for improved durability and oil-filled shocks for a smoother ride.
Aside from those updates, the K5 Blazer Pro still uses portal axles with metal gears and has full ball bearings throughout the chassis and transmission. Speaking of the transmission, the 18th Anniversary Edition K5 Blazer Pro also features a two-speed transmission for better speed control when crawling or trail driving.
Of course, the other scale elements of the standard FCX24 K5 Blazer can be found on this model as well, including LED headlights, a removable rear capper, and an optional rear rollbar.
All of the accessories and upgrades that are compatible with the FCX24 K5 Blazer "standard" should carry over to this model. If you want to save a little money on your next FMS upgrade purchase, use coupon code RCNEWB to receive a $5 discount on accessories at fmshobby.com.
