First Drive: Furitek Mini Komodo Unity 2-in-1 Motor/ESC Combo [Video]

Just before Redcat released its brushless version of the Ascent-18 Scout II, Furitek announced its compact 2-in-1 Mini Komodo Unity Brushless Motor/ESC. The idea of a motor and ESC combo with an incredibly small footprint seemed too good to be true, and I had to see if this package lived up to the hype it was building (at least in my own mind).
Here is my first outdoor drive with the Mini Komodo Unity 2-in-1 installed in one of my Redcat Ascent-18 Scout IIs. An "on the table" overview and deep-dive into this motor/ESC combo and its features are coming, but I couldn't wait to get this updated rig outside for a test drive.
