Axial SCX30 Chevy K10 R/C Crawler
The phenomenon that is Axial's SCX30 continues to roll with the release of a new model, the SCX30 Chevrolet K10. Based on the SCX30 Jeep Wrangler and SCX30 Ford Bronco, this old-school-themed R/C crawler features a classic body style and a few small changes under the hood.
Starting with the exterior, the body appears to be based on the 1970 Chevy K10 and features a chromed grille, front and rear bumpers, side mirrors, and roll bar. Available in a blueish-green or black, this truck looks like a stunning micro-sized replica of its 1:1 counterpart.
Along with the body change, this version of the SCX30 features a set of plump 1/30 Interco Super Swamper tires mounted on chromed plastic rims.
Under the body, you'll find an SCX30 chassis that's much like the original Wrangler and Bronco variants, with a slight change in motor speed. Rather than an 88T brushed motor, Axial has equipped this micro crawler with a 65T powerplant, offering more torque and less top-end speed.
