It's become a Pavlovian response at this point. Redcat announces a new Ascent-18 crawler, and I add it to my collection. With the release of their Ascent-32, Redcat is dipping its toe into the world of micro R/C crawlers.
Geared toward indoor crawling, the Ascent-32 is a budget-friendly crawler that looks like it offers plenty of fun, no matter the weather outside.
Here's my initial reaction to this 1/32-scale rig as I gave it an overview and an initial shakedown on a tabletop crawling course:
