Just when I was thinking there hasn’t been much news on the small-scale R/C front, Team Associated has introduced a number of new, 1/18 radio-controlled vehicles. Leading the charge is their Apex 1/18 RTR Touring Car (@20113).
This 4-wheel drive (shaft-driven) car features an attractive bodyshell design (available in white or “charcoal niteline”) exterior and impressive components “under the hood”. Powered by a 370-size brushed motor, the Apex features oil-filled shocks, a 2.4GHz radio system, and a Reedy Powered SC200-D electronic speed control (ESC).
Outside of the power and appearance details, the Team Associated Apex uses rubber tires, independent suspension (front and rear), and adjustable differentials to ensure drivers get the performance their craving with this this touring car.
