Little by little, additional details have been released about Carisma Scale Adventure’s two new small-scale trail trucks. If you’re a fan of their 1/10-scale SCA-1E Coyote or simply dig the aesthetic of an old-school pickup truck, then you’ll want to take a closer look at the Carisma MSA-1E Coyote Pup (#79368).
With a four-link suspension setup and ladder-frame chassis design, the Coyote Pup looks like a traditional R/C “scaler”. Some of the same features you’d find on a 1/10-scale trail truck have made their way into this 1/24-scale version, with a few new bits thrown in.
While not included, you can add LED lights to this tiny truck with relative ease, thanks to an available port. If you’re really feeling adventurous, you can easily attach an all0in-one FPV camera for a totally immersive R/C experience.
Keeping the exterior look of the Coyote Pup body as clean as possible, the Carisma crew has opted to used Velcro body mounts rather than traditional, clip-style body posts. The front bumper includes two LED light buckets and a second set of lights can be installed in the roll-bar mounted light bar.
This model will include a 2.4GHz radio system, a high-torque steering servo, and a multi-mode ESC with various drive settings. Batteries for both the truck and the radio transmitter will be included, so you’ll be ready to hit the indoor trails as soon as you open the box.
An expected price has yet to be announced, however, Carisma has been touting this model as being “affordable”, so there’s hope that this truck will be priced similarly to other 1/24-scale radio-controlled models. Visit the Carisma Scale Adventure Facebook page for additional details on this model.
